i don’t really get why we can’t just be cool to other people.
like
i tend to be like if what you’re doing isn’t hurting anyone or making anyone feel bad, i don’t care?
if you’re going around being a dickhat to people, i’ll be like “hey what you’re doing is hurting others who never hurt you, and it’s making you look bad, cut that out please”
not in those words exactly
and you know what?
if you’re just chill about things (ie not getting all social justicy, not telling people to “check their privilege”) you know what good people usually say?
“sorry, i didn’t know”
and if someone’s not sorry for hurting someone else, they’re so far gone there’s nothing you can say and it’s best to just shuffle along. they aren’t worth your time. they aren’t good people.
